Fort Woofers! Looks like no Barktoberfest this year. There were too many pet-related events in October competing for the same sponsors. But we encourage you to support Don’t Forget to Feed Me’s birthday party event on October 4 at the Trinity Park Pavilion. Don’t Forget to Feed Me is a food bank for pets! The event is called Glowing on the River. It is a pet-friendly event with entertainment, food, a glowing twilight pet walk along the Trinity River, and birthday cake! Hank FM is planning to help us with a spring event at Fort Woof. Stay tuned for more details.
The Humane Society of North Texas has reserved the parking lot at Gateway park from the city for July 26th from 8am to 4pm for a fundraising event benefitting the E. Lancaster animal shelter. The shelter is bringing the adopt-a-pet trailer and will be accepting donations via PayPal at hsnt_fundraiser@hotmail.com. Check out the HSNT Paws for the Cause flyer for details.

Please take a minute to vote for a new dog park at Z Boaz and leave your supporting comments. If we bark enough, the city will listen!

Boaz would serve a lot of new people and their dogs from that part of town, and would also help keep Fort Woof less crowded on busy days. For the Z.
