This is an on-leash event...
Barktoberfest is an "on-leash event," so your dog must be on a leash in the Barktoberfest area during the event. There will still be separate off-leash areas for both large and small dogs, however.
Barktoberfest - Saturday, October 4th
Come join your favorite dogs at Fort Woof for the 5th Annual Barktoberfest! Barktoberfest is a fall festival for four legged friends and their families. We’ll have a dog halloween costume contest, performing dogs, pet vendors, rescue adoptions and more. Check out the Barktoberfest 2007 photo gallery to see what a great time everyone had last year.
It's an election year at Fort Woof! Get involved in Fort Woof Mayor's race, where canines campaign to be Fort Woof's top dog. (The candidate who raises the most money wins, so its the only election you can legally buy.)
1310 AM The Ticket is sponsoring Barktoberfest again this year. Listen in as they broadcast live from the festival!
Admission to Barktoberfest is FREE. Certain funds raised from Barktoberfest support the Fort Worth Animal Shelter and Fort Woof Dog Park.
